Dining Dollars are linked to your campus ID card, and can be used in UC San Diego
Dining Services restaurants and shops. It's the ultimate in convenience when purchasing meals, snacks, and other essentials (like laundry detergent). Each purchase is automatically deducted from your account balance- just like a bank debit card.
Your Housing contract includes one of two Dining Dollar plans based on your Housing assignment:
• The 2100 Apartment Plan
• The 2750 ResHall Plan
The Dining Dollar Plan is designed to be flexible for an array of lifestyles and appetites.
For example: the 2100 Dining Dollar plan breaks down to about 63 Dollars per week. Room stocked with mini-meals, drinks, and sundries? 63/week will probably be plenty.
However, if you eat most of your meals with Dining Services, like to snack, or enjoy frequent lattes, consider one of these options:
1. Buying Up (Only available from August 26 through September 12) later
2. Adding Dining Dollars later in the school year
3. Opening a Triton Cash Account
