Carrier Johnson Share in $79M UCSD Housing Contract

The new UC San Diego North Campus development includes a 12-story residential tower, plus low-rise apartment buildings, a campus-run restaurant and a retail market. “The whole idea is to bring something very cool, refreshing, young thinking ... to create spaces students are really going to enjoy,” said David Gonzalez, a senior project designer.

HDH Introduces Green Funds for Employee and Student Sustainability Ideas

GREEN FUNDS are a portion of HDH’s budget which will be made available to the residents and staff of UC San Diego’s Housing and Dining operations for use in furthering and maintaining sustainability projects and efforts, including recycling, energy efficiency, water conservation, or other resource saving measures. The projects must benefit Resident students and/or HDH facilities and they must promote sustainability.
